SOUTH PORTLAND USPS– “The best health fair we ever had!” “A lot of fun!” and ”When are you holding your next event?” were common expressions of approval as the "South Portland Safety and Health Committee" and "Dr. Jeffery Clark - Health Check Maine" launched the first of a series of three Portland-area health fairs for postal employees and family members.
Folks I just wanted to send out a quick thank you for your participation in Sysco’s fair. It was a big hit. To give you an idea our attendance went from 68 (last headcount for our fair in 2007) to 115. I have been getting nothing but positive feedback from our employees.

Southworth International recently had the opportunity to host a Wellness Fair and Healthy BBQ at our Falmouth location. With 85 employees at this site, it was a great opportunity to introduce them to various local health care practitioners as well as alternative forms of medicine they may had not have been exposed to in the past. The feedback has been phenomenal! I have been approached several times by various employees, complimenting on the vendors and the variety of information available. It was a big hit! Thank you, Health Check Maine, for being a centralized place where we can network with local practitioners in order to bring health education direct to our employees.
